The
Education Room In the Education
Room we have many books and puzzles for
all ages. The room is covered with posters
about everything from snakes to planets.
We have filled it with educational toys, as well as
a pretend kitchen. We also have two big
chalkboards for learning letters and numbers,
or just coloring fun.
In the Imagination
Room there is a fully stocked dress-up
area with costumes for boys and girls to
have tons of make believe fun. Also we included
a puppet theater with several puppets to
choose from and a Thomas the Tank Engine
table with all of the characters to make
it complete.
The Main
Room has fun for all ages, including
animal exhibits like the fish and
crabs, and also the Dino-Dig
sandbox, which is filled with special fine
gravel that doesn’t stick like sand. The main room
is also filled with many different play
elements and toys as well as our main play
structure which has a speed slide and a “ball room” instead of a dirty and unsafe ball pit
The Toddler
Zone is completely enclosed and
soft and filled with soft play elements,
toys, and books. It has no fall height
greater than 18 inches. This is the
place for young children to be able to play safely
and parents can finally relax and have a
conversation.
The Parent’s
Lounge is a place where parents
can relax while still keeping an eye on
their child. We have a surveillance
monitor that shows all of the blind spots
in the playground so you will always be
able to see your child and finally be able
to relax and have a conversation.
Also this room can be rented
out for parties.
The
Music Room
Music has been proven to improve math and
problem solving skills. We have a room
set aside for exposing children to a variety
of instruments and styles of music.
Children will be able to experiment with
real instruments. Parents and children
can also take group or individual lessons.
The main focus will
always be fun. We will have many guest speakers
and child entertainers, as well as performances,
magicians, and school teachers and tutors.
Keep an eye on our calendar for current
events and our ever changing and expanding
list of activities. The calendar is posted
in the playground as well as on our website,
dinoplayground.com. Also ask for group
pricing for birthday parties, mom’s
groups, home-school groups, church groups
and school field trips.
According
to the University of Pennsylvania Health
System, “Free play encourages your
child to use his or her own ideas and imagination.”
• Develop social
skills through role playing
• Build self confidence through a
sense of power and control
• Build a sense of creativity or imagination
• Learn by using all of his or her
senses
• Enhance learning skill
In
today’s busy world there is less and
less time for children to play.
Kid’s schedules
are often overfilled with structure. Come
let your children play, then discover something
about your child and about yourself.
